We believe in the power of a creative atmosphere
Being surrounded by art and creativity fosters an environment focused on well-being and building confidence. It is for this reason Petals developed The Flourish Program; a transitional workforce development program for young adults in our community that are overcoming barriers to employment such as trauma, homelessness and disability. Through this program we provide transportation, lunch, mental/physical wellness programming and paid employment ... all through flowers. This is the purpose behind what we do and is at the heart of Petals. As a social enterprise, our business model directly supports our community impact as we work to get our students involved in as much as possible!
We believe everyone in our community deserves to flourish into happy, healthy and sustainable futures regardless of their roots.

A Passion with a Purpose
Passion can be described as a "strong and barely controllable emotion". It is coupled with enthusiasm and an unwavering power to drive one's thoughts and actions. To me, it is one of the strongest emotions. My story blends two of my passions: community and flowers.
My background is in floral/event design and event planning. I have been fortunate to see the power of petals as they celebrate the start of new chapters, new life, and also celebrate the lives of one's story concluded. Throughout this entire process they have brought me much joy and immense passion. I took a leap and decided to put purpose behind my passion to shed light and joy in our community through flowers. Maybe starting a business during a pandemic wasn't utilizing my business skills, but like I said earlier passion is a "barely controllable emotion".
My goal is quite simple: inspire positivity and community through the creative art of floral design. Whether you are receiving flowers from us or having fun along side us to arrange flowers, I hope together we can leave the world a little brighter and happier than when we entered it. See you in my "happy place" among the flowers.
